Daily Hatha Yoga classes during the Symposium January 4th - 29th; Monday to Sunday 9:00 to 10: 00 am EST with Hanu Yoga Studio. We will lovingly create unique and inspiring classes that integrate a variety of Yoga traditions. These will keep the flow of energy and health moving in your body and mind. We are Patty Grant and Kirsten Askins. Patty will guide you on MWF and Kirsten on TThS&Sun. We are passionate about bringing our knowledge of Yoga, including good food for your practice & methods of meditation. Make the commitment to yourself and to us and you will shift not only your physical self but transform on more subtle levels. Practice every day or at minimum three days a week. Classes will be recorded for your benefit, but we would love to see you learning live!

Mondays beg. Dec. 7th 6-8 pm PST 9 - 11 pm EST The tarot was Shelley Hofberg’s first divination tool that she taught herself to use at age 16. As a skilled ‘clairvoyant,’ Shelley has always been able to see pictures and images in her mind’s eye. This is what attracted her to the tarot. In this ‘Tarot Class’ with Shelley, you will explore esoteric wisdom that comes from the collective consciousness of universal symbols on the tarot cards. These universal symbols speak the language of images and pictures that can be interpreted through your higher senses of seeing, feeling and knowing. You will also gain insight about numerology and astrology. You will discover about both the astrological and numerological connections of the tarot. This will give you deeper understanding of the symbolic meaning that shows up when using these divination tools. In the group workshop, we will be reading for ourselves and others, as well as creating a tarot journal to record our insights. In this intelligently sequenced flow, we will move with our breath and focus on twists! Lots of modifications will be offered, as well as options to check in with your body in order for you to create the class that works the best in YOUR body.
This class is a journey to understanding true health, through the lens of Ayurveda by exploring the foundational principles that make it the most powerful healing science. The particular journey of Ayurveda starts in ancient Indian texts which lay out the foundation of creation itself and provide the basis of all Ayurvedic principles. From there, we explore how this foundation opens the pathway to understanding our true Nature, our place in Nature, and ultimately, realizing our Higher Self (Divine). It is a journey through history that brings us to today, and how this ancient science is still so relevant to how we live life in the 21st century. In this class, you will learn why Ayurveda has the most comprehensive knowledge of nutritional health, lifestyle guidelines, and dietary principles which affect healing at physical, mental and spiritual levels, and for different types of people. You will come away with an understanding of how you can support your own healing and growth with Ayurveda’s multi-layered approach to creating total health (“svastha” in sanskrit). We will explore why Ayurveda is emerging as one of the most important global systems of mind-body medicine, by revealing how to understand the language of nature, and how to live in harmony with the greater universe.
