There is a growing interest in the use of sacred plant medicines for spiritual illumination and healing. An important concern for many people is how to integrate their experiences with these sacred medicines into their daily life. The practices and understandings of Buddhist Dharma -meditation, inquiry, ethics and community- provide profound contexts and tools for integration. This session explores practices and dynamics involved for this integration.

In this class, we'll use attainable yoga shapes to undo the obstacles to peaceful Self. Avita Yoga is the undoing that brings mobility in the body and peace of mind. It's remarkable at undoing blockages in and around the joints while fostering deep healing and an improved range of motion. It works on the body because it works on the mind. I can't think of a better way to discover a better "you" in 2022. We'll target the hips and low back but include some beneficial work for the shoulders and upper back. If you can get down on the floor, you can practice Avita Yoga and benefit from it. The only valuable item is a bolster, strap or belt, and a firm cushion. See you in class soon.
