Your personal brand consists of many things: knowledge, experiences, personality, friends, family, accomplishments, failures, attire, verbal and non-verbal communication, attitude, values, faith, and much more. Personal branding is who you are, what's inside, and how that translates to everyday actions, behaviors, and decisions. Your brand value translates directly to the value of the team, organization, and/or business. We will explore the topic during this session.
With researchers and practitioners coming from around the globe--and from university and business settings, ICELW works to improve online learning so that it makes a measurable difference in workplace performance and morale. By uniting the corporate and academic worlds, ICELW is creating a new synergy--one with the unique capability to realize the vast potential of e-learning in business and industry. ICELW 2011 will incorporate an increased focus on demonstrations of successful e-learning, on a discussion and debate format for certain sessions, and on the application of new research ideas and research studies to practical workplace learning problems. ICELW 2011 will also feature an unprecedented lineup of keynote and invited speakers: the conference will include keynote sessions from Jay Cross and Jay Liebowitz, plus special sessions with Allison Rossett and Tony O'Driscoll! Compelling Topics The ICELW program will explore a broad spectrum of topics relating to e-learning in the workplace and the use of technology to improve job performance. Our aim is to present the most relevant and promising ideas in research and practice, then build on them to bring about excellence and innovation in workplace e-learning. Engaging Formats To convey e-learning knowledge and show its application in the workplace, ICELW uses a variety of engaging formats: demonstrations, mini-seminars, case studies, interviews, debates, presentations, panel discussions, and more! By offering this "active" structure for the conference, we hope to encourage lively discussion among participants, as well as inspire meaningful action.
